영국 뉴캐슬대학교 교육학 교수로 재직하고 있으며 MIT의 객원 교수를 역임하기도 했습니다. Mitra는 구름 속 학교로 10년 이상 연구하고 관찰한 결과물을 나타내고 커뮤니티, 현장 체험 등 온갖 첨단의 학습 방법을 도입하여 공교육의 핵심사안인 교사의 주입식 교육이 없더라도 호기을 자극하는 환경에서는 스스로 학습하고 공유한다는 결론을 입증하는 실험을 성공적으로 증명하였습니다.
